yuletide recs, part one

I got two gifts this Yuletide, and woo boy, heed the warnings on these puppies. I love the feeling when you corrupt a baby fandom into writing you super super darkfic.

Let Us Now Praise Dangerous Men, Niall Lynch/Colin Greenmantle

Greenmantle had already decided to have Niall Lynch killed in the messiest and most painful way imaginable, but he didn't mention that when Lynch asked to see his etchings.

Wicked hot and just plain wicked. Wonderful portrait of violence, class tension, and utter scumbags in lust.

A Light That Never Comes, Declan Lynch & Adam Parrish

Sometimes there's only bad and worse.

I have a humongous soft spot for Declan Lynch, and seeing him like this was just heartbreaking.

While I'm at it, [personal profile] isis wrote a fic for my prompt at ravencycle_kink. I asked for Kavinsky noncon and she, uh, delivered. :P Funny and sinister and featuring everyone's favorite dead Bulgarian bastard.

Boring Side Effect, Joseph Kavinsky/Noah Czerny

Dying, he'd told Lynch, was a boring side effect. If he'd known just how boring it was going to be, he'd have taken better care to stay alive.
