Thank you for writing my first May the Fourth gift! I've recently fallen back into Star Wars fandom and I'm hungry for anything you want to write. I have a lot of likes and prompts listed, but if nothing here speaks to you, I'd rather you write a story you're passionate about. I've only requested fanfiction, but fanart treats are welcome. I adore the visual aesthetics of Star Wars and would love any art that incorporated it.
Star Wars specific likes:
Grungy spaceships
Underdog Rebels/Resistance fighters who believe that hope is stronger than evil
Force users existing apart from and conflicting with the regular military structure
Hotshot pilots
Good characters fighting their inner darkness
Struggling towards redemption
People getting limbs cut off
Codependent incest
Relationships between people with the Force and people without (and the conflict that creates)
General trope/kink likes:
Found family, especially with poly ships
Character-driven BDSM
Awkward, fumbling first times together

I absolutely loved Rise of Skywalker, so don't feel the need to "fix" any of the canon developments. I like canon divergence AUs, including those that retcon TROS developments, but I'd rather not receive overt criticism of the things that happen in the movie (e.g. characters talking about how Ben shouldn't have died or Palpatine's return doesn't make sense). If you're not comfortable writing Kylo Ren or Reylo, I'd rather have him not mentioned at all than a story that rewrites their relationship as platonic or unimportant.
At this time I'm a movies-only fan (I've seen the nine main continuity films and am slowly working through the anthology films). Feel free to flesh out stories with details from the EU, but please nothing that will only make sense if you've consumed the canon.

Reylo hit me harder than a ship has in a long time. I adored their arc through the whole sequel trilogy, and I especially loved their ending in TROS. Their intense doomed bond, their mutual loneliness and inexperience with loving relationships, their sexy AF lightsaber battles, their femdom subtext, the fact that they see reflections of themselves in each other (or the selves they could've been). Give me darkness, give me awkward non-penetrative sexual fumbling, give me Sith Rey keeping an eager Kylo as a pet, give me their awkward forays into consensual femdom, give me amputation, give me dark Sith rituals and death magic. Keep Ben dead, bring him back, or keep him dead and bring him back, either as a Force ghost or a came-back-wrong Sith zombie. For this request I opt in to gore, character death, necrophilia, suicide, consent issues, and bad endings.
For Rey/Ben/Poe or Rey/Ben/Finn, I'd prefer something a little less dark, but you're still welcome to explore the grief and trauma the characters are going through. How does Rey's Resistance boyfriend/fuckbuddy deal with the sudden appearance of her formerly evil soulmate (who might be kind of attractive actually)? I love the idea of Rey finding belonging in a poly relationship, but I also love complicated relationships where people are hurt and jealous and have to find common ground.

One of my favorite parts of the sequel trilogy is how well it captures the spirit of ragtag rebel pilots flying around in junky spaceships fighting for freedom. Finn, Poe, and Rey are all this to some degree, and I loved seeing them all together in TROS. I love the annoyed affection they all have for each other, and how they all deal with their shared trauma, and the conflicts that arise when two thirds of your threesome are Force sensitive and one is disturbingly drawn to the dark side. I'd love something light and silly about them exploring a new planet or getting into shenanigans, and I'd love dark hurt-comfort that deals with their individual traumas. I'd also love to see Finn and Poe helping Rey heal from the loss of her Force soulmate.
For Rey & Chewie & Han, I adored seeing them together in TFA and would love more adventures on the Falcon. Or maybe Han is a ghost mentor that helps Rey on her quests? Most of Han's loved ones are Force users, so he must have a slightly more nuanced view of the Force than in Episode IV, but maybe Rey's lightning freaks him out a little. Or maybe Han has the unique perspective to guide her through that pull to the dark side. I'd also love to see what kind of mentor Chewie is, and what he thinks of Rey as a copilot, maybe filtered through his relationship with Ben?

These three characters and their permutations are some of my first and oldest ship loves. I adore their banter, their clash of personalities, the deep love for each other that they might struggle to express. I love ships that are bonded from having gone through hell together, and ships of brave, heroic people trying to do the right thing. I'd love either an OT or ST setting, or the years in between. Maybe a scene from Ben's childhood, or the characters reuniting in the afterlife (I know Han can't be a Force-ghost, but surely there's another ghost option for him).
