The main Libertines conflict is Pete Doherty's struggles with heroin addiction--it caused The Libertines breakup and most of the drama between Pete and Carl (one of the most dramatic incidents was Pete getting arrested for breaking into Carl's flat and spending several months in jail, which somehow led to this incredibly snuggly photo from their reunion gig the night Pete got released). It's a whole Russian novel of drama, but Pete got sober sometime in 2014 and the Libs immediately reunited to record their first album in eleven years ♥ They haven't released anything since, but Pete's been putting out solo material and they've been performing together, I think he's been doing well.
