It's kind of hilarious how twisted up ppl get about Saltburn not being a queer film, Farleigh and Oliver textually fuck??
Like you cannot say Oliver is straight; and Felix/Oliver is pretty mutual, if unconsummated, in the way I read it. But I'll see professional viewers being like 'it's unclear if there's queer desire here, also I wonder why he drank that guy's come and fucked his grave. A mystery!

Re: Challengers, I'm pretty resistant to a reading of the story that has villains? The way that everything is so well-balanced between the three of them (the power, the hurt, the mistakes) is most of what I like about it. Though I also feel sympathy for what Zendaya said on the tour, that she was always having to point out the way Art fucked things up when ppl thought Patrick and Tashi were the villains and if it swung the other way she'd be taking his side. I think they all did some dumb/misguided shit that mostly backfired and left them all pretty unhappy in the present timeline, for which I'm willing to extend a lot of grace.
