I fucking love Suspiria 2018. It's definitely messy and had dead spots (could have jettisoned the entire psychiatrist plot! it would have been fine!) and doesn't develop the Blanc/Susie relationship as much as I'd have liked, especially given it's the central relationship of the movie, but I love all the things you list, and I especially love the witch coven politics (I want to know SO MUCH MORE about that) and the cosmic eldritch goddess stuff. So much of it is a movie made Specifically For Me. And yessss the dance scenes! I love them so much!

I can concede that the original is a more important movie and probably a better one, but the remake is the one that lives in my heart.

Also, I just want to say I do enjoy hearing your thoughts on movies and media! I like seeing what other people are reading and watching and comparing thoughts. :)
