A list of things in progress:

1. Several hockey fics, some very filthy, some very sappy, and at least one that's both. I'm only actively working on one of them because it makes me nervous to write about other teams when my team's still in the playoffs. Speaking of...

2. Playoff beards. I can't wait for them to go from middle school scraggly to full mountain man.

3. A couple Raven Boys fics. One is incredibly fucking kinky, and the other is a kink bingo fill.

4. The process of staring at my bingo card and wondering if my approach to porn could be any more different from that of the kink bingo crowd.

5. The process of staring at my coworkers and wondering if I'm going to shrivel up and die before I get laid.

The prospect of #1 is very exciting! And re #4, I have to ask, so, what is your approach to porn? I did a kink bingo a few years back, but I have to admit I struggled with it and haven't done another one since.

Hoo boy. I have a lot of strong feelings on warnings culture in fandom, so I'm sorry if this comes across as dickish. I basically think that porn shouldn't have to conform to real life standards of Safe, Sane, and Consensual (I also think real life sometimes fails to conform to those standards, but that's a different kettle of fish). A lot of people use kink bingo to show how kink can be feminist and respectful and healing and totally not abusive, which is intimidating when you want to write about rookies being molested at the combine. Kink bingo should be the perfect home for that, but the mods also want it to be a safe space for trauma survivors, and I don't think it can be both.

Ah, yeah, I can see the incompatibility there. I hope it doesn't prevent you from writing that, though, even if it doesn't end up helping you fill your card!

Haha, thanks. I admit that's part of why I want to write Bruins kneeling-verse, although it definitely wouldn't help defend my team's honor. I'm not even doing bingo officially, and the actual writing and posting doesn't bother me, but I feel a little weird promoting heavier stuff on the KB comm. Especially if people come there expecting the feel-good therapy kink stuff.
