Lucic is...a surprise, to say the least. Someone on deke_dangle put it wonderfully: he may be a piece of shit, but he's our piece of shit. Every hockey fan in the world hates him except for Bostonians, which is making me more upset than it probably should. Please take care of him, LA, I promise we'll get some new adorable rookies for Jones to have sexual tension with.

Hamilton isn't as surprising, given the Bruins' track record, but now I have a defunct 27 jersey. Someone get on that Thornton/Kessel/Seguin/Hamilton orgy fic stat.

(((((((( It's just really unexpected and seemingly lopsided. Normally I make fun of people who coo over huge, violent, obscenely wealthy men like they're stray kittens, but he's my scary thug and everyone hates him in LA and I just want to make sure he's okay :(

I'm more of a Kings bandwagoner in fandom (small blessings) but I've been planning to write the Bruins "they're not evil it's just tough love" kneeling fic for about a year (with Looch as the protagonist, sob). I'm not officially on tumblr, but I love Las's Segs/Marchy fics.

I will probably write that fic someday, but it's a hard one to get the tone right. And I'm not exactly in the right frame of mind to defend the Bruins management...

I feel like there's fun hate sex potential with Carter and Richards and the Flyers thing, but it would have to be character-sympathetic, which I don't necessarily trust fandom with (see "our piece of shit"). It'll be interesting to see if kings fans wind up liking him, though. And if having Joner will mean more Bs fic.
